Google Pixel 4a is launching in India this October

August 4, 2020 by Kunal Gangar

Google has confirmed the recently announced Pixel 4a will sell in India later this year. Slated to launch in October on Flipkart, Google Pixel 4a will offer the best Android experience at a competitive price.

Pixel phones are known for their simplicity and ease of use and Pixel 4a also tries to bank on the same. The Pixel 4a will have a single colour, single RAM+ROM configuration and a single camera! It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G, 6GB RAM and 128GB and features a 12.2MP dual-pixel sensor. This is a good move as it has been proved before that devices with multiple sensors do not automatically improve the picture quality. It’s the software optimisation and Google currently rules the roost when it comes to computational photography.

As for the other features, the Pixel 4a comes with a 5.8-inch OLED display, a 3140mAh battery for all-day use with 18W fast charger, fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also supports 5G bands but Google will sell the 4G variant in India and Singapore.
