Honor 8X comes to India

Honor 8X finally has a release date for the Indian market. Unveiled earlier in China last month, the device has received an overhaul with improvements made across the board.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor with Mali G51 GPU. It has a 6.5″ FHD+ (1080x2340p) display panel with 19:5:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 397ppi. The bezels have been reduced in size thereby increasing the overall screen real estate. On the back is a glass finish with double textured design and 15 layers of aurora glass.

On the rear lies the fingerprint sensor and dual camera setup consisting of a 20MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary sensor having an aperture of f/1.8 backed by AI. The 16MP selfie camera at the front has fixed focus and f/2.0 aperture. A 3750mAh battery powers the device with the company boasting of power saving features.

Priced at Rs.14,999 (4GB+64GB), Rs.16,999 (6GB+64) and Rs.18,999 (6GB+128GB), Honor 8X is available in Black, Blue and Red colour variants. It will be solid exclusively on Amazon India from 24 October.
