Sony releases two new wireless headsets

Sony India unveiled two new wireless extra bass in-ear headphones, MDR-XB80BS and MDR-XB50BS, further adding to their existing line-up. The headphones are tuned for EDM (Electronic Dance Music) with a tempo of 120-140 beats per minute. Special attention has been given to this genre because according to Sony it is the only genre to gain increasing popularity over the last decade.

These wireless headphones can easily connect to the music player, smartphone or dock via Bluetooth or NFC. The built-in microphone also supports hands free calling. The MDR-XB80BS is designed with a secure ear hook style with cable adjuster. It is also IPX5 water resistant which makes it washable and has a battery life of upto 7 hours. The MDR-XB50Bs comes with arc supporters offering a stable fit and has a battery life of around 8.5 hours. They are IPX4 splash proof so users can wear it outside even when it is drizzling.

The MDR-XB80BS (Rs.10,990) and MDR-50BS (Rs.5,490) are available in all Sony Centers and major electronic stores across India.
