Videocon launches Ultra50 smartphone

Videocon is trying to grab a slice of the highly competitive sub-10k segment in India with the recently launched Ultra50. The dual-SIM 4G device is the first in an upcoming range of 14 models from the company to be launched by the end of the year.

Videocon has implemented certain features which are usually not found in this segment. The display is protected by Asahi Glass which comes with a curved bexel design and supports MiraVision for certain visual enhancements. The fingerprint sensor has been embedded into the home button on the front.

The company is offering 18 months warranty and 15-day replacement. It also comes with a free 1 year membership to ErosNow app which offers access to over 3000 movies and music videos. The Ultra50 is priced at Rs.8,990 and will be across the country from the first week of November.
