Wonderboom from Ultimate Ears is the is perfect pool party speaker

Ultimate Ears has extended its speaker family with the addition of the new Wonderboom. The Bluetooth enabled speaker is waterproof and portable enough to be carried around with you. The design even sports a hanging loop so that the speaker can be hung on a wall or hooked onto a bag.

The device has a few multi-function buttons and a minimalist design approach. There is no App, Microphone, Speakerphone or 3.5mm audio jack and so caters to an audience who only listens to wireless audio. The Wonderboom outputs 360 degree sound at 86dB. It comes with IPX7 rating making it waterproof as it can survive immersion in water upto 1m for 30 minutes and can even survive a drop from upto 5ft.

It takes around 2.8 hours for a complete charge and provides upto 10 hours battery life. Pairing with any Bluetooth wireless audio profile (A2DP) supported device, it has a wireless range of 100ft/30m.

Wonderboom is being sold at a price of Rs.7,995 on Amazon India and will soon be available in offline stores. It comes in 6 colours (shown above in order of display): Stone (Grey), Phantom (Black), Fireball (Red), SubZero (Blue), Cashmere (Pink) and Lilac. There is a 2 year limited hardware warranty provided by Logitech.
